Hey Fellow Internet Users.

Umm, now what do I write?

I'm completely new and totally un-co at this blogging thing, but thought I would give it a whirl.

A little about me. I'm an aspiring writer. Have been writing for over two years on one novel... yes, one novel. Which is making me tear my hair out. But fingers and toes crossed it will be worth it. Like any newbie writer I finished my manuscript, got super excited and thought. 'I'm ready for my agent now.' I stupidly sent it off WAY too soon and become crushed when all I received were rejections.

So, back to the drawing board. I found this amazing site called querytracker and met a few critique partners who have been a saving grace for my mental stability and my manuscript. How is it I didn't pick up on those glaringly bad mistakes? Anywho, I am still on the same novel but feeling much, much more confident on where I'm heading with it.

I guess the main reason for starting this blog is to reach out to the community of writers out there who are in the same boat as me. It's a compulsion to write and we have no choice but to follow the muse... and at the end of it - hope that there's a publishing contract! :)

I will post a few tips and hints that I've learnt from my C.P's ( Critique Partners ) and hope to build a worth-while reading blog.
